One of my most exciting projects – Cultural Roots

One of my most exciting project I’m involved in is the revamping of original Jamaican vocal trio, Cultural Roots. They were recorded between the late 70’s and mid 80’s, after the popularization of reggae music had occurred worldwide, at the infamous Studio One in Kingston, Jamaica with the notorious reggae rhythm section, Robbie Shakespeare and Sly Dunbar – the same rhythm section from Bob Marley’s Wailers. We’ll be doing a preliminary recording this coming Sunday, and plan to continue releasing music until we have a full length album done hopefully by the summer. Our first gig is booked for January 7 at Opus in Salem. Being part of this project with my dear friend Jake Pardee has been nothing short of amazing. Please plan on being part of our first ever public performance.
